Step 1: Saute bacon until starting to crisp, about 5 minutes.
Step 2: Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
Step 3: Add soup, sour cream and pepper and stir until creamy.
Step 4: Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Serve over your favourite pasta or vegetables. Very good with some cooked chicken, shrimp or crab (add with with the soup and sour cream before simmering).
