Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 bacon slices, diced
  • 1/2 cup green onion, sliced thin
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.75 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
  • 16 ounces light sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute bacon until starting to crisp, about 5 minutes.

  • Step 2: Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

  • Step 3: Add soup, sour cream and pepper and stir until creamy.

  • Step 4: Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 5: Serve over your favourite pasta or vegetables. Very good with some cooked chicken, shrimp or crab (add with with the soup and sour cream before simmering).
