Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound pork sausage (ground)
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 slices muenster cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 3 burger buns
  • 2 medium tomatillos, husked, sliced
  • 1 medium avocado (peeled, pit removed, sliced)
  • 3/4 cup fresh cilantro, stems removed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the pork, chipotle, adobo sauce and garlic. Form 3 patties

  • Step 2: Lightly spray a skillet with oil, high heat, cook burgers for 1 minute

  • Step 3: Turn heat down to medium, flip burgers cover with lid, cook for 5 minutes, flip again continue cooking until done about another 6 minutes. You may want to turn the heat down a bit more

  • Step 4: For the last 2 minutes cooking add cheese to burgers to allow it to melt

  • Step 5: Assemble burgers adding the cilantro and tomatillo
