  • 3 cups water plus 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dehydrated beef bouillon granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place 3 cups water, mushrooms, bouillon granules, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaves in a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.

  • Step 2: Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes.

  • Step 3: Return to high heat and bring to a boil.

  • Step 4: Mix 2 tablespoons water with 2 tablespoons cornstarch and pour into boiling mixture.

  • Step 5: Stir until thickened and removed from heat and serve.
