  • Rice
  • 3 ounces dry white rice (3 tablespoons)
  • Chicken
  • 8 ounces chicken breast, cooked, boneless, skinless
  • 8 ounces sour cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix milk ingredients together in a saucepan.

  • Step 2: Simmer chicken broth to almost boiling, don't boil.

  • Step 3: In stockpot, heat butter and onions.

  • Step 4: Season lightly when chicken broth is hot.

  • Step 5: Temper the milk ingredients.

  • Step 6: Then add the chicken broth to milk.

  • Step 7: Add to onions.

  • Step 8: Add rice and chicken.

  • Step 9: Simmer covered for 20 minutes, stirring so it doesn't burn, don't boil.

  • Step 10: Season to taste.

  • Step 11: Stir in sour cream.
