  • Sauce
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 10 ounces cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
  • Meatloaf
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup herb stuffing (Stovetop)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Sauce: Blend sour cream 1/2 can of the soup and nutmeg and set aside.

  • Step 3: Meatloaf: Mix the meat and 1/2 can of soup, the stuffing mix and season to taste.

  • Step 4: Add the egg.

  • Step 5: Form loaf in a shallow casserole.

  • Step 6: Bake 60 minutes.

  • Step 7: With 10 minutes to go, heat the sour cream mixture, don't boil.

  • Step 8: Pour over the meatloaf.
