Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 cup orange juice, fresh (about 2 - 3 oranges)
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest, grated
  • 1/4 cup lime juice, fresh (2 - 3 limes)
  • 1 chipotle pepper (from a can)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil or Orange Chipotle Oil provided in this recipe: https://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/orange-chipotle-oil-45023
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
  • 3 - 4 tablespoons cilantro leaves, fresh, chopped
  • Kosher salt, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the orange juice, orange zest, lime juice, and chipotle pepper in a blender or food processor and process enough to blend. Transfer the puree to a nonreactive mixing bowl and whisk in the oil a little at a time. Add the garlic, cilantro, and salt.

  • Step 2: Makes 1 1/2 cups.

  • Recommended Cuts: Beef tenderloin, steak (marinade for 2 - 3 hours; Pork chops and Pork tenderloin (marinade for 4 - 6 hours or overnight). Cook in the manner you would normally cook these cuts.
