  • 1 1/2 pounds pork chops (6)

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup onions, 6 thick slices
  • 1/2 cup green bell peppers, minced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 7 ounces white rice, dry (1 cup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Season chops lightly.

  • Step 3: Heat oil, brown on both sides and remove.

  • Step 4: Brown onions on both sides and remove.

  • Step 5: Add chili powder and cook for 2 minutes.

  • Step 6: Add water, stir up bits.

  • Step 7: Add rest of ingredients.

  • Step 8: Pour into greased Pam sprayed 9x13 casserole.

  • Step 9: Season to taste.

  • Step 10: Put pork chops on top, then onions on top of pork chops.

  • Step 11: Cover and bake for 60 minutes until chops are tender.
