Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons bacon, crumbled (make you own our use store bought)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
  • 1/8 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar, granulated
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch pepper (or a couple grinds)
  • 2 cups peas, frozen, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons red onion, diced
  • 1/2 ounce cheddar cheese, sharp, cubed or shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fry bacon until crisp if you're not using crumbles. Drain on paper towels.

  • Step 2: Put sour cream or yogurt, mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; whisk to combine.

  • Step 3: Add peas, red onion, cheddar cheese, and most of the cooked crispy bacon; gently stir to coat completely. Keep out a bit of bacon as garnish.

  • Step 4: Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

  • Step 5: Garnish with some crispy bacon before serving, if you still have some left!
