The ingredients are:
  • Pudding
  • 6 ounces lemon pudding, cook and serve (1 package)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs yolks
  • Jello
  • 6 ounces orange jello, instant (1 box)
  • 2 cups water, boiling
  • 2 cups water, cold
  • Frosting
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • Cream
  • 16 ounces whipping cream (1 pint)
  • Topping
  • 11 ounces mandarin oranges, drained (1 can)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pudding according to package (with the egg yolks).

  • Step 2: Make jello as directed but before refrigerating mix pudding and jello together and pour into a 9x13 pan and refrigerate until until set (about 3 hours).

  • Step 3: For frosting: mix together sugar, egg, flour, butter and pineapple juice together in a pot and cook until thick.

  • Step 4: Cool completely.

  • Step 5: Whip cream and fold into pineapple mixture and spread on top of jello.

  • Step 6: Top with mandarin oranges.
