Step 1: Cook bacon and remove.
Step 2: Add bacon grease so it's 2 tablespoons.
Step 3: Cook onions until brown.
Step 4: Add tomatoes and okra, stir all of the vegetables together well.
Step 5: Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6: Add rice and stock.
Step 7: Stir again to make sure everything is mixed well.
Step 8: Cover and cook on medium low heat for 20 minutes.
Step 9: Don’t open the lid!
Step 10: Take off heat and let set covered for 5 minutes.
Step 11: Salt to taste and stir in crumbled bacon.
