Step 1: Saute onion in butter, add garlic and cook for a few minutes and set aside.
Step 2: In medium bowl, light beat the eggs, add the milk, wine or broth.
Step 3: Add the torn buns to the egg mixture and soak for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Add the onion mixture and remaining ingredients; mix well.
Step 5: Bake in a greased casserole at 325 degrees for about 35 minutes.
