Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound chicken breast, boneless, skinless, chopped
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • 1 celery stalk, sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • Salad
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, minced
  • 1/4 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, English, crushed
  • 1/3 cup salad dressing (Miracle Whip)
  • 4 ounces sour cream (1/3 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: In skillet, cover chicken breast with water.

  • Step 2: Add bouillon, pepper, reserved celery and green onion trimmings.

  • Step 3: Cook over medium heat until chicken is cooked through.

  • Step 4: Remove chicken from water and discard celery and green onion trimmings.

  • Step 5: Let chicken cool and dice.

  • Step 6: In a large bowl, combine chicken, chopped celery, chopped green onions, pineapple, walnuts, salad dressing, sour cream, salt, sugar and curry powder.

  • Step 7: Chill and serve.
