Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound thick sliced corned beef (right from your grocers deli)
  • 16 ounces sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 3/4 cup thousand island dressing, use a good quality bottled dressing
  • 2 cups swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Crock Pot ... Add all the ingredients to a small crock pot and mix well. This recipe doesn't do well in a large crock pot. You want a 1 1/2-3 qt size.

  • Step 2: Cook ... Low setting for 1 1/2-2 hours. This can also be cooked on the stove top in about 30 minutes if you prefer that method. But heat it slowly.

  • Step 3: Serve ... With "Cocktail Sized" Rye or Pumpernickel breads, or you can slice up a loaf of rye or pumpernickel bread in triangles. Baby par boil red potatoes are fun, vegetables; or even serve in a bread bowl. A variety of crackers are also great to serve with this dip. ENJOY!
