Step 1: In deep skillet, fry bacon until it's almost crispy.
Step 2: Then add onion and fry a little longer; then add linguica and fry a bit longer.
Step 3: When it's done, add the chicken broth.
Step 4: When broth boils, add rice, paprika and pepper.
Step 5: Cover and simmer over low flame for 20 minutes, then stir in peas and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 6: At the end, stir in kidney beans and butter and take off heat covered.
