  • 4 cups hash brown potatoes, frozen
  • 6 ounces heavy cream (3/4 cup)
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 16 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Spray an 9x13 inch or 6 cup casserole dish with non-stick spray.

  • Step 3: Pour half of the frozen hash browns into casserole dish. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and half of the cheese over potatoes .

  • Step 4: Sprinkle on half the onions.

  • Step 5: Spread remaining hash brown potatoes in casserole dish.

  • Step 6: Top with remaining salt, pepper, onions and cheese.

  • Step 7: Mix cream and sour cream together.

  • Step 8: Pour heavy cream mixture over potatoes.

  • Step 9: Bake 45 minutes covered.

  • Step 10: Take the lid off and bake another 15 minutes until potatoes are soft and cheese is melted and browned.

  • Step 11: Serve hot.
