Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, dry, fine
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • Gravy
  • 3/4 ounce brown gravy mix (1 package)
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes, hot
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large bowl, combine eggs, 1/2 cup of the sour cream and milk.

  • Step 2: Whisk hard.

  • Step 3: Stir in bread crumbs, onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 4: Add beef and mix well.

  • Step 5: Place in 13x9 inch baking dish.

  • Step 6: Bake uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for about 1 1/4 hours, or till meat thermometer registers 170 degrees.

  • Step 7: Let cool 10 minutes.

  • Step 8: Remove from pan.

  • Step 9: Meanwhile, in medium pan, stir together the remaining sour cream and dry gravy mix.

  • Step 10: Add water as called for on package.

  • Step 11: Cook according to package directions.

  • Step 12: Slice meat loaf and serve with the mashed potatoes and gravy.
