  • 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Shred half of the the cabbage finely and the other half more coarsely.

  • Step 2: Place in a zip top bag or a large Tupperware container.

  • Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, salt, seasoned salt, black pepper, and onion powder.

  • Step 4: Pour the dressing over the shredded cabbage.

  • Step 5: Refrigerate 24 hours or until cabbage turns deep red, softens a bit, and flavors meld.

  • Step 6: If you can, shake it around a time or two while it is in the fridge chilling.
