Step 1: Mix together the eggs, vanilla, pumpkin, brown sugar and pumpkin spice mix.
Step 2: In saucepan, mix evaporated milk, half and half, and granulated sugar.
Step 3: Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves.
Step 4: Add to the pumpkin mixture gradually, tempering it.
Step 5: Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
Step 6: Lower heat to 350°F and cook 25 minutes until silver knife comes out clean(again someone else said it took 15 minutes more to cook.
