Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step 2: Oil a cast iron skillet or a round baking pan.
Step 3: In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients (cornmeal - sugar) plus 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/4 teaspoon white pepper.
Step 4: In another bowl combine the wet ingredients (milk -lemon juice).
Step 5: Stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Fold in the green onions, feta and herbs.
Step 6: Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7: Let cool 15 minutes before serving.
