Step 1: Place frozen beans in a large saucepan.
Step 2: Cover the beans with water and add the salt.
Step 3: Bring beans to a boil then cook for 8 minutes, depending on desired doneness.
Step 4: Drain beans and reserve 1 cup of the water.
Step 5: Add the bouillon cube or teaspoon of bouillon.
Step 6: Stir so the cube dissolves and set aside.
Step 7: Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan and add the onion.
Step 8: Saute until the onions are translucent.
Step 9: Add the thyme and summer savory.
Step 10: Sprinkle the flour on top of the onion mixture and stir till smooth.
Step 11: Let it bubble and cook for 1 minute.
Step 12: Slowly add the cup of bouillon mixture, stirring so there are no lumps.
Step 13: Stir constantly until the liquid thickens cook for 1 minute.
Step 14: Add the beans back to the saucepan and simmer for about 3 minutes to heat the beans.
