Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 300 grams Paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 red pepper, medium, cut into squares (optional)
  • 1 onion, small, peeled, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato purée
  • 200 grams heavy cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, combine the spices and lemon juice, and give it a good mix.

  • Step 2: Add the paneer cubes and pepper and mix with the spice blend, then let the mix hang out in the fridge for 30 minutes.

  • Step 3: Melt the butter in a big saucepan over medium heat.

  • Step 4: Add the chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes, until soft.

  • Step 5: Add in the minced garlic and let it cook for another 2 minutes.

  • Step 6: Add in the marinated paneer and pepper, then cook it all together for 5 minutes. Stir it occasionally to make sure it cooks evenly.

  • Step 7: Now add in the tomato paste and heavy cream. Give it a good stir, then let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Step 8: Top it off with some chopped fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.
