Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 10 ounces frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 7 ounces instant rice (1 1/3 cups)
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion, grated
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups dill pickle, chopped
  • 8 ounces ham, cubed (1 cup)
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, cubed (1 cup)
  • Garnish
  • 1 cup tomatoes, quartered

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add peas to water and add salt to taste.

  • Step 2: Cover and bring to boil.

  • Step 3: Remove from heat, stir in rice and cover, set aside to cool.

  • Step 4: Blend onions, pickles and mayonnaise.

  • Step 5: Add to rice and pea mixture and blend.

  • Step 6: Before serving, add ham and cheese.

  • Step 7: Season to taste.

  • Step 8: Add more mayonnaise if needed.

  • Step 9: Decorate with tomato wedges.
