Step 1: Add peas to water and add salt to taste.
Step 2: Cover and bring to boil.
Step 3: Remove from heat, stir in rice and cover, set aside to cool.
Step 4: Blend onions, pickles and mayonnaise.
Step 5: Add to rice and pea mixture and blend.
Step 6: Before serving, add ham and cheese.
Step 7: Season to taste.
Step 8: Add more mayonnaise if needed.
Step 9: Decorate with tomato wedges.
