Step 1: Soak the milk and oatmeal for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 3: Whisk dry ingredients into a bowl.
Step 4: Add dates and stir.
Step 5: Cream margarine and sugar.
Step 6: Add egg and oatmeal mixture; add this mixture to creamed mixture.
Step 7: Beat until just combined.
Step 8: Fill muffin tins 2/3 full.
Step 9: Bake 30 minutes. (I would check at 12 minutes myself)
