Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (goat's milk)
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fleur de sel or sea salt
  • 24 figs, ripe and halved lengthwise
  • 4 cups watercress, stems trimmed (this is about 2 bunches)
  • 1 cup mint leaves
  • 1 dried pepper (Indonesian pepper or Balinese long pepper is specified)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl whisk together first 5 ingredients and season with salt and set aside.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle figs with the sea salt and place in middle of platter; drizzle dressing over the figs and then scatter the watercress and mint over the figs; season with olive oil and the pepper.
