  • 16 ounces egg noodles, dry, wide
  • 6 cups water boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 16 ounces sauerkraut (1 jar)
  • 20 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup (2 cans)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (1 package)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown ground beef and onion and seasoning lightly.

  • Step 2: Cook noodles in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain.

  • Step 3: Drain sauerkraut with noodles.

  • Step 4: In a large pot, combine cans of condensed soup, 1 soup can of milk, rinse out soup cans with milk.

  • Step 5: Mix well to combine.

  • Step 6: Add in cooked beef and noodles.

  • Step 7: Stir until well coated.

  • Step 8: Cook together on stove over medium-high heat until heated all the way through.

  • Step 9: Top with shredded cheese before serving.
