Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 48 ounces cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 cups sugar (up to your discretion how much sugar you like)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cinnamon sticks (3-inch sticks)
  • 1 tablespoon whole allspice
  • 1/2 gallon unsweetened tea
  • 1 cup orange juice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring first 5 ingredients (cranberry juice - tea) to a boil in a large Dutch oven; reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Remove cinnamon sticks and allspice; stir in tea and orange juice.

  • For COOL CRANBERRY TEA: Prepare recipe as directed. Chill tea mixture for 2 hours. Stir in 1 liter ginger all, chilled, just before serving, if desired, garnish with lemon slices, fresh cranberries, and cinnamon sticks. Makes 20 cups
