  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cups carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 cups potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups chicken stock or vegetable stock
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cheddar, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in large saucepan; added onion, carrot, carrot and garlic; saute until onion is soft and clear.

  • Step 3: Stir in milk and parsley; heat without boiling.
