Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons onion salt
  • 1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh marjoram, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • (HERBS: I would imagine that dried herbs could be substituted for the fresh, especially when they are not readily available, however, adjust the amount, using less when using the dried versions)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 large garlic cloves
  • 3 pounds country style back ribs (see NOTE)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a food processor (or blender), combine all of the marinade ingredients until all mixed and processed through. Pour the marinade over the ribs and marinate several hours overnight.

  • Step 2: Heat the grill. Drain the meat. Place the ribs over the hot grill, and cook for 8 - 10 minutes. Turn and brown the other side, 6 - 8 minutes.

  • NOTE: Country-style ribs are the blade ends of the pork loin, butterflied. There are approximately 2 1/2 to 3 ribs per pound. 2 to 3 ribs per person.
