  • 1 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons butter (salted)
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Trim the stem ends from the green beans.

  • Step 2: Add the green beans to a large pot of salted, boiling water. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until tender, yet still crisp. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.

  • Step 3: Return the pot to medium heat. Add the olive oil and garlic. Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant but not brown.

  • Step 4: Add the beans back to the pot and stir gently to combine. Add the butter to melt and salt and pepper to taste.
