  • Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • Wet
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 4 ounces heavy cream (1/2 cup)
  • Brown Sugar Glaze
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Whisk dry ingredients together really well.

  • Step 2: Cut in butter until crumbly.

  • Step 3: Mix In cranberries.

  • Step 4: Make well in center

  • Step 5: Mix wet ingredients together.

  • Step 6: Pour into dried ingredients.

  • Step 7: Mix just until incorporated.

  • Step 8: Turn out onto floured board.

  • Step 9: Make into a round and cut into 8 scones.

  • Step 10: Put on cookie sheet separately.

  • Step 11: Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 15 minutes, until lightly browned.

  • Step 12: Take out to cool.

  • Step 13: Meanwhile, mix everything but powdered sugar together.

  • Step 14: Sift in enough powdered sugar to make a glaze.
