The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds boneless pork chops (4 chops)
  • 4 teaspoons adobo seasoning salt
  • 2 teaspoons cumin, ground
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, ground

We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place all of the spices into a small bowl and toss to combine. Use the spice mix to generously season both sides of the pork chops.

  • Step 2: Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium high heat. Once the oil starts shimmering, add the pork chops and brown on both sides.

  • Step 3: Reduce heat to medium and add the onions to the pan, stirring them in. Saute for 3-4 minutes until they begin to caramelize, stirring often.

  • Step 4: Add the tomato sauce and sugar, stirring to combine. Simmer, covered, until chops are done - about 5 more minutes.

  • Step 5: Remove from heat and serve over white rice.
