Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, bone in
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
  • Casserole
  • 15 ounces French cut green beans, frozen (1 bag)
  • 10 ounces cream of chicken soup (1 can)
  • 8 ounces sour cream (1 carton)
  • 12 ounces stovetop stuffing, chicken flavor (1 box)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook chicken, cut off bone, de-skin and cut into bite size pieces and simmer for 1 hour in water and bouillon. Save broth for other things.

  • Step 2: In ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan, layer beans (still frozen) and cooked chicken.

  • Step 3: Mix soup and sour cream and pour over chicken. Mix stuffing using 3/4 cup water (chicken broth) and one stick butter. (Use broth from cooked chicken)

  • Step 4: Spoon lightly on top of other ingredients.

  • Step 5: Bake covered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees and uncovered 15 minutes longer.
