Step 1: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain.
Step 2: In a bowl, mix dressing: add store bought jarred pesto, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, water, olive oil and mix dressing well.
Step 3: Pour pesto dressing over pasta and mix well to evenly coat all of the pasta sides.
Step 4: Add onions, chicken and grape tomatoes and toss again to combine all ingredients.
Step 5: Add a little salt and cracked pepper prior to serving.
Step 6: Put in fridge for a few hours to get cold.
Step 7: Serve pasta salad topped with pine nuts.
