Ingredients

  • Pie Shell
  • 1 cup flour
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (1 cup)
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped fine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • Filling
  • 8 ounces sour cream (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 eggs
  • 16 ounces cooked boneless skinless chicken breast, finely chopped (2 cups)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon Mike's hot honey mustard
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup pecan halves

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine flour, 1 cup cheese, chopped pecans, salt and paprika in a bowl and mix well.

  • Step 2: Add oil and combine until well mixed.

  • Step 3: Press firmly onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9" deep dish pie plate.

  • Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

  • Step 5: Cool completely.

  • Step 6: Combine sour cream, broth, mayo, and eggs and whisk until smooth.

  • Step 7: Add chicken, 1/2 cup cheese, dill, and hot mustard.

  • Step 8: Pour chicken mixture into prepared baked crust.

  • Step 9: Arrange pecan halves over the chicken mixture.

  • Step 10: Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes until set.

  • Step 11: Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
