  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, smashed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon Spanish smoked paprika
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salad
  • 12 ounces tuna in olive oil, drained save for dressing (1 can)
  • 1 cup fresh flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • 16 ounces mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup onions, shaved
  • Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon pine nuts
  • 1 lime, wedged

How to Make

  • Step 1: Blend the dressing with all ingredients but the oil. Add oil from tuna measured with other olive oil for 1/3 cup.

  • Step 2: Add oil in steady slow stream.

  • Step 4: Toss with dressing.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle on toasted pine nut seeds; serve with lime wedge.
