Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili flakes (or adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups light cream or full-fat milk
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (can use more)
  • 2 to 3 American cheese slices
  • Seasoned salt, to taste and added in at the end)
  • 4 baked russet potatoes (or use as many as you like)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a Dutch oven cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is browned (about 10-12 minutes) drain. Add in garlic and chili flakes; cook 2 minutes.

  • Step 2: Stir in the flour, bouillon, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Gradually add in light cream or milk and Parmesan cheese bring to a boil. Cook and stir constantly until thickened (about 3 minutes).

  • Step 3: Mix in the cheese slices until melted. Season with seasoned salt to taste. Spoon the gravy mixture over potatoes. Sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese.
