  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Noodles
  • 12 ounces frozen noodles (1 package)
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce
  • 10 ounces tomato soup (1 can)
  • 16 ounces spaghetti sauce (1 jar)
  • Topping
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces longhorn cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Pam spray 9x13 casserole.

  • Step 3: Cook noodles in heavily salted boiling water until al dente; drain, saving 1/2 cup water.

  • Step 4: Meat: Cook meat and onions together and add celery and peppers, season lightly.

  • Step 5: Cook until translucent.

  • Step 6: Add garlic.

  • Step 7: Drain if needed.

  • Step 8: Add sauce, using pasta water to rinse out can and jar.

  • Step 9: Add noodles.

  • Step 10: Pour into casserole dish.

  • Step 11: Bake for 35 minutes.

  • Step 12: Add cheese and bake 10 minutes more.
