Step 1: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain saving 1/2 cup pasta water.
Step 2: When pasta is cooked and drained add back to pot with water and butter.
Step 3: Add olive loaf and simmer until thickened.
Step 4: Season to taste and toss with cheese.
