Step 1: Combine broth, bouillon, turmeric powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, fish sauce and white scallions in a stock pot and bring to a boil.
Step 2: Meanwhile, mix corn starch and water into a slurry.
Step 3: When the broth is boiling, stir in the corn starch slurry.
Step 4: Continue to stir and slowly drizzle in the beaten egg that is lightly seasoned.
Step 5: Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6: Garnish with green tops of scallions.
