Step 1: Get spices ready.
Step 2: Mix together pumpkin, maple syrup, eggs and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
Step 3: Heat another 1/2 cup evaporated milk and stir in 2 tablespoons butter.
Step 4: Add this to pumpkin mixture along with 1/2 cup dark brown sugar and spices.
Step 5: Mix well.
Step 6: Pour into prepared graham-cracker piecrust.
Step 7: Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
Step 8: Turn heat down to 350 degrees and bake another 50 minutes.
