  • Chicken
  • 4 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Stir Fry
  • 7 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced on bias
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon msg
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 12 ounces fried chow mein noodles, warm (1 bag)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all the chicken ingredients together.

  • Step 2: Let set 5 minutes.

  • Step 3: Heat wok and add some oil; cook chicken until just done.

  • Step 4: Remove.

  • Step 5: Add more oil.

  • Step 6: Add cabbage and cook until wilted down, about 5 minutes.

  • Step 7: Add onions and stir fry.

  • Step 8: Add garlic and lightly season.

  • Step 9: Add celery, chicken, soy sauce and chicken broth.

  • Step 10: Add msg (if using).

  • Step 11: Cover cook for 5 minutes.

  • Step 12: Add cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.

  • Step 13: Season to taste.

  • Step 14: Serve over warm chow mein noodles
