Step 1: Boil a package of gnocchi in heavily salted boiling water until they float then drain.
Step 2: Sauce: Heat butter and oil and saute onion until translucent.
Step 3: Add mushrooms that have been cut in half or 1/4th so about same size as gnocchi.
Step 4: Add garlic and season lightly.
Step 5: Add Alfredo sauce.
Step 6: Rinse out jar with pasta water and add to pan.
Step 7: Add gnocchi and cook until tight.
Step 8: Garnish with cheese to taste (they had in casserole cause it was cafeteria).
