Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 cups ham, cooked and diced
  • 1/2 cup raisins, chopped
  • 3/4 cup pineapple, canned in chunks
  • 3 tablespoon onion, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup pineapple syrup (from the canned pineapple)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place ham in a casserole dish and top with the onions and green pepper rings. Place the pineapple and raisins on top of the vegetables.

  • Step 2: In a pan over medium heat heat the pineapple syrup and vinegar.

  • Step 3: In a cup combine the sugar, cornstarch, mustard and salt and then add it to the liquid in the pan and stir until it thickens. Stir in soy sauce and then pour the mixture into the casserole.

  • Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

  • Step 5: Delicious served over rice.
