Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 12 eggs, hardboiled, peeled and cut in half lengthways
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (Old Bay, or similar mix)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 1/2 cup cooked salad shrimp, chopped (4 oz)
  • 6 ounces lump crabmeat, drained (1 can)
  • 3 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

How to Make

  • Step 1: Remove yolks from prepared eggs and place in a bowl. Reserve whites.

  • Step 2: Mash yolks with fork. Stir in mayonnaise, seasoning, paprika and ground mustard until well blended. Stir in shrimp and crab.

  • Step 3: Spoon heaping teaspoonfuls of yolk mixture into egg white halves. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.

  • Step 4: Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon and parsley.
