  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, shaved
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 8 ounces grape tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang paste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook spaghetti in heavily salted boiling water until al dente; drain, saving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, melt butter in a sauce pan.

  • Step 3: Lightly brown garlic.

  • Step 4: Add gochujang paste.

  • Step 5: Add red pepper flakes, tomatoes and soy sauce.

  • Step 6: Season lightly.

  • Step 7: Add pasta water.

  • Step 8: Add cooked, drained pasta and cook until tight.

  • Step 9: Season to taste.
