  • 6 cups water, boiling

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Shrimp
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Garnish
  • 2 green onions, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil.

  • Step 2: Cook linguine, saving 1/2 cup pasta water.

  • Step 3: Drain.

  • Step 4: Toss in 1 tablespoon olive oil with lemon zest.

  • Step 5: Set aside.

  • Step 6: In a bowl, coat shrimp with Cajun seasoning and 1 tablespoon olive oil.

  • Step 7: Transfer to a skillet over medium heat.

  • Step 9: Add pasta water and fresh lemon juice.

  • Step 10: Add cooked pasta.
