Step 1: Chop off the wilted black ends, if any, and discard.
Step 2: Clean the leafy green ends well, ensuring there is no sand or mud on them.
Step 3: Place them on a clean towel and allow to dry.
Step 4: Chop them into 2-inch pieces and place them on the dehydrator racks.
Step 5: Dehydrate at 155 degrees Fahrenheit for 7 to 8 hours, until completely dried and crisp.
Step 6: Allow to cool for 30 minutes and pour into a large bowl.
Step 7: Crush with your hands or pulverize into a powder with a spice grinder.
Step 8: Store in a sealed jar until ready to use.
