Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 10 ounces tomato soup (1 can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • Noodles
  • 16 ounces dry egg noodles (1 package)
  • 6 cups water boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Garnish
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain saving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, saute veggies in melted butter in large stock pot until softened

  • Step 3: Add ground beef and break apart.

  • Step 4: Add tomato soup and spaghetti sauce rinsing out can with pasta water and add to meat.

  • Step 5: Add pasta and simmer until tight. They had put it in a large casserole and baked 30 minutes at 350F, but I'm not, just finishing up on stovetop.

  • Step 6: Season to taste.

  • Step 7: Sprinkle on parmesan cheese when serving.
