  • 15 ounces chickpeas, drained (1 can)
  • 8 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, saving 1 cup of water.

  • Step 2: Heat oil and cook garlic until golden and remove.

  • Step 4: Add red pepper flakes, pasta and garlic chips.

  • Step 5: Add 1/2 cup pasta water and cook until thickened.

  • Step 6: Season to taste.
