  • 8 ounces goat cheese (softened) (1 log)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or jarred)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (cut into ribbons)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375F.

  • Step 2: In a small baking dish, press the goat cheese to fit the shape of your dish, leaving a 1-inch border around edge.

  • Step 3: Gently spoon the marinara around the border, up to the edge of the cheese but not over the top of the cheese.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle with the salt.

  • Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the goat cheese is warm and soft and the marinara is hot and bubbling.

  • Step 6: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the basil.

  • Step 7: Serve immediately with crostini or garlic bread for dipping.
